Holocluck shot lots of pics including a few of folks participating in the Vietnam War-era tradition of listening to “Alice’s Restaurant” on Thanksgiving. Priscilla van Hyden shares her rustic Thanksgiving table. When you’re using crosscut slices of trees for placemats, it’s rustic. Be still my heart, she put the mash potatoes under the broiler to give them a toasted top. Green bean casserole, butternut squash soup, wild rice casserole, stuffing – now this is what I call Thanksgiving.
If you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you spend a happy day of good food and good times with friends and/or family. If you don’t, I hope you still have some tasty food because we all deserve that, don’t we, any day of the year.
