Cybersecurity Ventures predicts that the global annual cost of software supply chain attacks to businesses will reach a staggering $138 billion by 2031, up from $60 billion in 2025, and $46 billion in 2023, based on 15 percent year-over-year growth.

Software supply chain attacks are on the rise both in terms of volume and frequency, driven by cybercriminals exploiting the digital connections between vendors, partners, and customers. Gartner predicts that by 2025, 45 percent of organizations worldwide will have experienced attacks on their software supply chains, a three-fold increase from 2021.

A special 4-minute video report on the magnitude of software supply chain attack damages is brought to you by Exiger. Exiger is revolutionizing the way corporations, government agencies and banks navigate risk and compliance in their third parties, supply chains and customers through its software and tech-enabled solutions.
